Janet and her colleagues, renowned Malian artists of the Groupe Bogolan Kasobane are available for workshops, lectures, demonstrations and exhibitions. They have offered bogolan workshops for all levels: elementary school students thru university students as well as adult members of the community. The workshops have ranged from a one hour introduction to a several week intensive program for artists.
We presented workshops at Michigan State University, the University of Alabama, Birmingham and privately as well as participating in the Smithsonian Folklife Festival and the New York African Film Festival.
